Google Maps

  • Charlotte started the conversation

The client has made countless API accounts with google cloud for this to work. They have tried everything and now have missed the launch for the website because of this. We've tried coordinates, addresses, but the map will NOT CHANGE. Please look into this.

    Hello Charlotte,

In order for Google maps to work the client needs to create an API key and enable billing for it.

It is the Google policy since a couple months ago.

If you don’t manage after you get the API key, please provide the link to the website and the wordpress login details and i’ll set it for you.

I’m sorry for missing the launch, but the only one to blame is Google not letting google maps free.

    Let me know!

Sorry I should have made it more clear. I am very aware about the new Google Maps billing issue. The client has done this. I will post the login details in my next post.

Again, the issue is the API key.

You need to enable the required APIs in the google Developer console : https://console.developers.google.com/

Select your project on the Top Left corner and then click on the "ENABLE API AND SERVICES" button in the dashboard.

Note that you may need to enable more than 1 API (Directions, Geolocating,Geocoding etc) based on your requirement.

Let me know if it works!
